An unissued pair of Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps canvas shoulder titles. The titles feature yellow lettering over a maroon background surrounded by a blue boxed perimeter. Tailor “cut” lines remain visible to the edges of the canvas titles while on the reverse a single title evidence of a spot of glue. Despite this minor blemish, these titles remain excellent period examples.

Manufactured in 1945 by Glisson & Miller, the size 4 suit easily fits a 6 foot stature. Though not easily seen in the photo, the broad arrow mark is partially hidden by the fold at the bottom seam of the tag. The many period appropriate repairs as photographed suggest this suit was used quite extensively but cannot be certain of when.
Embroidered on a cotton triangle measuring 9.5 cm x 8.5 cm, an olive drab border surrounds the colors of the infantry, cavalry, and artillery. A red lightening bolt overlays a canon affixed to tank tracks, while the numeral "2" denotes the 2nd Armored Division.
