Measuring approximately 7.5 cm by 5.5 cm and constructed primarily of brass, this double sided snuff box features a relief of the Swedish Coat of Arms on one side while blank on the other. Made from ground tobacco leaves and inhaled through the nasal cavity snuff would be used for a swift hit of nicotine. Despite one small puncture in the Coat of Arms, the box remains largely intact and functional.

Constructed of non-magnetic meganese and a steel rim, this second pattern Mk. I retains the majority of exterior finish. Inside, the liner remains largely intact though the chinstrap has been lost to time. Though the leather is slightly dry, the oil cloth remains supple, and netting is in tact. The helmet supplier is stamped "BURYS".
