Standard size black and white photo postcard featuring the Canadian Engineers Training Depot Band. Dated 1917, the post card features the band members and their instruments in England. On the reverse, “Love from Harry” written in pencil along with a stamp from the studio. The postcard shows some browning and yellowing but is otherwise crips and clear.

The naval badge retains it's original velvet and hand embroidered gilt wire which display a central anchor under an immaculate king's crown. Unlike Second World War examples, the crown consists of strictly red and green crown jewels rather than a central blue.
